GOES – Research in First Grade

Great Oaks First Graders are researching animals! Students use multiple resources to identify their chosen animal’s habitat, food, lifecycle, body, adaptations, and fun facts. Students read, listen, write, and rewrite before they publish for an audience. Their final product is often presented as a slide show, but might also be a video, a self-published book or an oral presentation.
